MDG's

My experiences as a volunteer of Kristohanong Katilingban sa Pagpakabana - Social Involvement Office has always been among the poor and the needy. I always see how hard life is for them, giving everything they've got, working so hard for to eat even for just once a day. I will never forget the moments I spent with them, eating with them, talking with the grown ups, playing with the kids and bonding with the youth. I really felt how hard life was for them, specially the time when I had my very first immersion at Sumilao bukidnon with the farmers whose land was taken away from them. The good thing about it though is that they never really lose hope, they never lose their smiles and their faith toward their God. That is why the millenium development goal that is close to my heart is MDG # 1 which is eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
