Community Mapping

Community Mapping is an effective non-verbal way of finding out how people perceive or view their area.

When I experienced the actual community mapping I was amazed with the fact that you can learn so many things just by roaming around an area. What I learned from the experience is that the area of Calamba, J.R. Borja, Morola, and Capt. V. Roa is mostly commercialized and you can rarely if not never see any residencial area. What I got from the whole activity is that the whole city mostly has a specific area for residential and commercial areas and each part of the city is different from another.

What also changed with me was that I somehow opened up to my groupmates not necessarily sharing about my life but I really acted as part of the group and that was a big change for me since I rarely interact with my classmates in DC 1, maybe I can use the experience as a stepping stone to fit in in my class.
